Last week, there were two major developments in the world of artificial intelligence (AI). One of these developments is the use of Midjourney AI, which allows users to create generated images based on prompts provided in a Discord server.
These images are created using mid-journey AI, which means that the technology is used during an ongoing process to optimize outcomes in real time.
Midjourney AI works by analyzing data and making decisions or recommendations based on that data. The more detailed the prompt provided, the better the results will be. There are different resources available for using Midjourney AI, such as:
One of the biggest challenges in the past was identifying whether an image was created using AI or not. It was discovered that models for image generation, such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E, were not great at recreating hands and fingers.
Therefore, if someone wanted to test whether an image was real or generated, they could focus on the hands.
However, recent upgrades have made it even harder to distinguish between real and AI-generated images as the hands are improved and look more realistic.
While there are benefits to these advancements, such as better image generation and output, there are also potential concerns regarding the misuse of AI-generated images.
With technology becoming more advanced, it may become harder to identify what is reality versus what is a generated artificial reality.
Many sources on the internet have called the explosion of chatGPT (large language models) the "iPhone moment," indicating that this is only the beginning of what's to come.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out and who comes out on top.
