The gravity of waves has such an inspiring sight and power to it. In the same way, music is simply waves combining together to change ordinary moments into unforgettable ones.
In the same way, Spiderman has his canon event the same canon wouldn’t even be as memorable without the music to go behind the visuals.
Art and yet scientific in nature has the power to express, emote, and create narratives unique to me and everyone else around me. Music videos try to share that vision but even then you can never fully experiences the experiences that someone else is having in the same moment of space-time.
A form of communication that transcends barriers and binds us in a universal romance.
I wanted a higher dose of that so why not go to ACL since it’s in Austin and I am also in Austin at the same time?
Austin City Limits - A Musical Cornucopia
Headling this time was Odesza and I couldn’t wait to see them. I had been waiting since 2016 because that’s when I first heard about ACL and thought I should go but laziness got to me and did not do anything about it for years.
Yes, they probably did come to other cities near me and had tours but got sidetracked and years passed on.
The music is not for everyone just like I can’t do with country music ( I tried okay! It just does not constructively come to my brain from the country genre). Finally, I had the chance and I couldn’t skip it this time.
So a quick summary if you don’t know what ACL is—
ACL Festival features a diverse lineup of acts every year with 9 stages, 100+ performances — and best of all, two weekends. - Link 🔗
Music festivals like ACL exemplify how music brings people together and creates a shared experience that resonates within their hearts long after the last note has faded. These events become a melting pot of cultures where differences are set aside, and people unite under the banner of their shared love for music.
Even trying to explain how good the performance was is just not possible in words. You had to be there to get the experience.
I was able to capture the moments through my lens a bit.

Seeing one of my favorite artists performing live was a stirring experience that transcended the realm of a typical concert. Now everything I think about them I replay their performance at ACL with the songs I love playing over and over.
Music can influence our moods, shape our perceptions, and even impact our very identities. It’s an intricate part of the human experience and can provide a profound connection to the world around us.
Whether it’s through a set of headphones, the speakers at a music festival, or the melody of a street musician, music integrates itself into our life soundtrack.
P.S. Need to remember to tell everyone to protect their hearing by getting some protection from loud music. Once your hearing deteriorates it won’t come back so take action early and often.
Thank you so much if you got this far. If you’d like to sign up for future posts then you can do so here.
