Favorite things ❤️

Books 📙

I kept up my habit of reading lots of book again this year. While there were many choices these 3 books made the final cut. I would suggest to start with The Motivation Myth and you can use that motivation to take on the other two books.

Links to all the books 📚 above:

  • The Courage to be disliked

  • The Motivation Myth

  • 1984 - George Orwell

Articles 🗞

Sometimes finding those iconic clips from movies, music and tv-shows can be a pain. YARN is a website that makes it easy to search by quotes.

Watch Now

If you watched the one from 2020 this one continues where it left off. It’s more of a parody of all the things that happened in 2021. I was surprised I forgot some thing which happened.

Songs 🎧

These are some of the new songs which made it throughout the year and still kept coming on repeat. The last one is an album with my friend Saif with our most favorite songs.

Things 🔨

Here are 3 of my favorite things which have made WFH more fun.

  1. Standing Desk - I got this desk and use it very often on stand mode. In the mornings, if you feel tired or lazy then just switch to standing mode and after 5-10 minutes of doing so you’ll be rid of the sleepiness. It also helps with great posture versus the crazy hunchover that you get from just drowning on laptops.

  2. Rubix Cube - The classic device to have on your desk when you’re thinking and want something to tinker with. If you really try for a week you can learn the 8 algorithms and then be able to solve it anytime.

  3. Fully Monitor Stand - If you have an external monitor and want to make an upgrade to your setup then just add a monitor stand which will save you tons of space and help avoid the clutter.
